Goal

I am going to explore in this blog whether we are living our lives through smart phones Apps and is this a Social Liberation or a Captive market for big businesses to exploit us?

General Subject

We spend all day with our smartphone only an arms reach away and alot of people sleep with their phones. On these phones we have a whole portal to apps supplying information but are they a portal for big business into our lives? Apps seem to be playing major parts of people’s daily habit and I am going to explore how much so this is and wether what we do on our phones apps is tracked and recorded for businesses and why. Companies like Apple, Google are huge in the supplying a place for Apps but its becoming more crowd with new companies like facebook creating app stores, why is this so popular and what are they gaining from this?
